We have a position available within the Supply Chain Management Department for a vibrant individual with strong work ethics who can work individually within a dynamic team environment: The employees mission is to manage/control/guide all areas of responsibility as described below: The employees main duties and responsibilities are as follows:- 1. Warehouse supervision: 1.1 Oversee three warehouses: Finished Goods, Raw Materials & Components 1.2 Organise and allocate work duties and ensure personnel meet deadlines 1.3 Improve and manage Stock Integrity 1.4 Provide Support to SCM Manager in SCM functions as and when required. 1.5 Manage stock in the warehouses: Stock counts, handling, storgae, returns, receiving and dispatching. 2- Commodity management 2.1 Ensure that technical requirements are clearly written and specified. 2.2 Find suitable suppliers able to reach the company requirements. 2.3 Carry out bids and analyse the quotation according to the total cost of ownership method (price, quality and service). 2.4 Lead the audit process for new suppliers, introduction with Quality and SCM departements. 2.5 Manage database settings for the supplier creation (Key contracts, Prices, Payment terms, Leadtime, MOQ). 2.6 Provide SCM manager with feedback regarding supplier audits, progress reports & schedules. 3- Supplier contracts 3.1 Negotiate and finalize agreements with supplier. 3.2 Implementation of Purchasing policy with suppliers. 3.3 Solve the disputes of product quality & quantity, lead time between the internal departments and Suppliers and claims processes. 4- Saving initiatives projects 4.1 Launch saving projects and ensure the follow-up of those actions to achieve the agreed targets. 5- New Product Development 5.1 Liaise with marketing department on new products and launches. 5.2 Source new products and materials for product launches. 5.3 Completing of ICF according to requirement for all purchased items. 5.4 Landed cost for components and raw materials, as per requests recieved. 6- Purchasing/Procurement - Local and Imports 6.1 Keep active market research for potential suppliers, markets and saving ideas. 6.2 Utilising needs Analyses to esthablish quantities to order from local and import supplers. 6.3 Placing of orders and follow-up on delivery of such orders. 6.4 Reporting on stock issues such as supply delay, inability to obtain stock, supplier non-conformance etc. 7- Administrative: 7.1 Ensure that all meeting minutes are done, communicated and archived. 7.2 Ensure that all new suppliers will have a contractual relationship with Wirquin. 7.3 Follow existing procedure are applied and create those which are missing 7.4 Keep ERP database settings up to date (Item, Supplier, Price, etc.) 7.5 Attend S&OP monthly meetings. Qualification in Purchasing and/or Supplier development At least 2-3 years experience as a Purchaser/ Supplier developer Experience in Warehouse Management will be advantagious Good administrative Skills - Good MS knowledge Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook - Pastel knowledge will be highly favourable - Good communication skills - Good inter-personal skills and teamplayer who will take pride in the Wirquin Values and behaviours - Strong values and ethics.
