The Role
Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Development Consultant with Motor Dealer experience. This role will expose you to a diverse working environment and the opportunity to connect with other individuals in the organization.
Location: Cape Town
Role Purpose: The ideal candidate will develop relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue and client retention. You will act as a consultant by developing account strategies that provide the greatest opportunities to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Hunt for new business/logos.
- Convert sales opportunities to wins and invoice.
- Market and sell the company tracking application and solutions to the Motor Dealer channel.
- Generate sales/leads and consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ensure that all new clients are active on our CRM system.
- Actively drive pending fitments daily to ensure deals are fitted and on active status.
- Ensure a call cycle is followed and clients are seen on a regular basis.
Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management (Advantageous)
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Driver’s License and own car required
- Corporate Governance knowledge
- Relevant Industry/Domain knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Professionalism
- Customer relationship management skills
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of telematics and tracking products and solutions
- Computer literacy
