Basic salary between R10000 R12000 + commission + (travel allowance - preferably own car)
Training : In-house training will be provided
Previous experience as a sales/buying representative, an advantage
Duties, tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for the procurement of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous scrap metals within her assigned vendors.
- Identify and contact potential suppliers and assist negotiating supply agreements, quotations and contracts, as needed.
- Liaise with management for prices of merchandise.
- Handle purchasing issues including queries on manifests and purchase notes.
- To confirm bookings with Suppliers and designated manager prior to load pick ups
- Prepare compliant safety & health files
- Form and maintain strong supplier relations: communication, negotiation and soft skills to interact with suppliers
- Perform other adhoc duties required by her designated manager
