We are seeking a detail-oriented POD Clerk to manage the collection and review of Subcontractor Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to expedite freight billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Debriefing: Ensure all documentation for assigned vehicles is checked before any tasks are performed; inform drivers of expectations.
- Debriefing: Collect all PODs with related customer documentation; report any deficiencies or damages to the Claims Department before invoicing.
- Administration: Verify all PODs at depots for company and subcontractor vehicles; communicate with personnel and control centers about outstanding PODs; maintain accurate records and updates on the status of PODs.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and verification skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with various departments and personnel.
- Experience in handling freight billing and documentation is preferred.
