Wastewater Engineer – Cape Town (Ref CT0113)

JG Afrika is looking for a wastewater and water engineer to undertake designs and contract administration for projects in our Cape Town office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing of wastewater infrastructure and conducting process assessments.
- Preparing contract documentation and managing contract administration.
- Providing Green Drop assistance.
- Travelling on short notice and working on site as required.
Qualifications:
- BTech (Civil Eng) or BSc Eng Civil
- Must be registered as an ECSA Candidate and be close to professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)
- A valid driver’s licence is essential
Experience:
5-10 years’ post grad experience in wastewater infrastructure design, treatment plant process assessments and contract administration.
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in the field.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civils 3D, and advanced Microsoft MS Word and MS Projects.
