Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems or related discipline essential
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 5 years of leadership experience in managing a successful team.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Retail Systems and Project Management within a retail organisation
- Experience in managing finance, stores, and Merchandise ERP systems is beneficial
- Experience in working across several different business units and functions.
- Proven track record of optimising business processes.
- Financial Management and experience in the management of budgets
- Extensive Project Management and IT knowledge.
- Knowledge of retail business systems and related processes (IT).
Key Responsibilities
- Management and optimisation of merchandise and non-merchandise systems through evaluation of current systems, the proposal of enhancements or changes to the system/processes and training and development of users.
- Management of stakeholder relationships and service delivery of internal and external stakeholders
- Recommended and facilitated implementation of new system solutions and/or system enhancement solutions
- Project Management of related IT projects
- User system support: Set up and maintain user and group security on financial systems.
- Financial Management of Opex and capex budgets
- Lead a team of Business analysts and manage all people-related outcomes
- Work closely with Users within the various business units to understand the business needs, prioritise delivery with Pepkor IT and manage delivery.
