Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) to produce 2D and 3D designs.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
- Contribute to the prototyping and testing phase, ensuring designs meet required standards.
- Support the design team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
- Maintain project documentation, ensuring all updates are recorded accurately.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with other teams (e.g., electrical, production).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and engineering design processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A keen interest in continuous learning and personal development.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a mechanical design role (internships or projects).
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and prototyping techniques.
- Ability to work with clients to understand and meet their requirements.
