Job Title : Regional Segment Manager – Mining

Role Overview
As the Regional Segment Manager for Mining, you will:
- Develop and implement the Mining segment strategies.
- Drive marketing initiatives, innovation, and competency building for the segment.
- Lead and support team members and leaders across the META region to achieve business performance aligned with the Mining Segment Strategy.
- Be expected to pursue higher management levels in a global career trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Execution :
- Define and implement actions to steer sales, business development, and marketing activities.
- Expand the buying customer platform and secure profitable growth.
- Evaluate market trends, define potential, and align strategies with customer needs.
- Create roadmaps, plan activities, and set objectives for team members.
- Coach and develop team members within your team and across other regional teams.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in the Mining segment.
- Present the Hilti value proposition to secure business and drive differentiation.
Operational Oversight :
- Guide sales teams to achieve desired results.
- Act as a strategic business partner, providing clear and actionable guidance.
Innovation and Adaptability :
- Proactively monitor the market environment and translate trends into actionable insights.
- Challenge the status quo to develop innovative solutions and value creation.
Requirements
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Business (preferred).
Experience :
- Minimum 6 years of Mining industry experience in relevant roles.
- Proven track record of working with large sales teams in a multi-channel B2B environment.
- Successful development and implementation of segment strategies.
Skills :
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify messages.
- Evidence of leadership and strategic partnership capabilities in matrix organizations.
- High commercial awareness and competitive drive.
- Adaptive leadership style with cultural awareness.
