Job Objectives:
Are you a creative professional with a passion for immersive technology and a strong background in 3D modeling, animation, and interactive design? Our cutting-edge virtual reality platform is transforming user experiences across multiple industries. We are looking for a talented Virtual Reality Content Developer to join our team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to create compelling VR content, understand project requirements, and collaborate with our development team to deliver engaging and high-quality experiences. Skills and Competencies:
- 3D Modeling and Animation: Proficiency in tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
- Game Engine Expertise: Experience with Unity for VR development
- Programming and Scripting: Knowledge of C#, C++, or Python for interactive VR experiences
- VR Tools and Platforms: Familiarity with VR hardware and SDKs (e.g., Oculus, OpenXR).
- UI/UX Design: Ability to create intuitive, immersive user interfaces and experiences.
- Optimization and Performance: Skills in optimizing assets for smooth VR performance
- Creative Storytelling and Design: Strong sense of narrative and visual aesthetics
- Collaboration and Communication: Effective teamwork and clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Project Management: Ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Documentation relating to VR content
- Testing and Troubleshooting
- Demo VR to potential customers
- Take technical ownership over projects assigned to deliver project solutions on time and within budget
- Involved at all stages of the development life cycle: analysis, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, and support
- Write detailed specs for their work and break it down into milestones to help manage the project effectively
- Provide realistic time estimates for tasks to help stay on track and meet deadlines
- Management of development subtask milestones and progress updates on a daily basis. It's important that the content creator accurately records their hours for invoicing purposes
- Customer training responsibilities
- 360 Video Content Creation:
- Assist videographer team in coordinating 360 video shoots
- Edit 360 video content
- Create 360 video training simulation content in Unity
- Backup System & Verification: Ensure that there's a system in place that automatically backs up their work.
- Set up and maintain the right backup system.
- Periodically review the system to ensure it's up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies
- Double-check that their work is being backed up in the system regularly to avoid any issues
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in sales processes and strategies
- Travel to other locations to implement systems, which will include setting up the systems, databases/servers, training users on the system, and maintaining support and control of the system
- Portray a positive image of Jendamark Automation while being detail-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven. This dedication may require working overtime to meet deadlines.
