Job Introduction Our Divisional Data Analyst, reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, will focus on creating data workflows, visualizations and business insights to support faster, more informed decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to guide decision-making and serve as a trusted, knowledgeable link between the Group Data Analytics team and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse large datasets and present clear insights to enhance decision-making.
Leverage dashboards, ETL pipelines, and curated data to generate actionable business insights that drive revenue growth and cost reduction.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly, visually appealing Tableau dashboards aligned with the group's style guide.
Use Alteryx to build ETL pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Integrate Alteryx with Snowflake to access curated data and develop new analytical use cases.
Share knowledge, support team projects, and assist with skill development.
Provide technical support, training, and guidance to business users.
Peer review team members' work and offer constructive feedback.
Adhere to a rigorous peer review, QA, and UAT process for all workflows and dashboards.
Partner with stakeholders to present insights and advise on enhancing decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
Data visualisation experience with Tableau or similar product. Proficient in creating dashboards using multiple datasources and layouts.
Data engineering experience with Alteryx or similar product. Competent creating workflows with multiple connections and tools.
Competent in using Microsoft products including excel, word and powerpoint.
Excellent communication skills, including being able to adapt your communication style to suit the required audience. Also having the ability to influence others around you in the team.
Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex business processes.
Knowledge of programming languages e.g SQL, Python – Desirable
