*The Role:*
As the Lead Practice Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and contributing to the ongoing success of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse ready to take the next step in their career or a current Lead Nurse seeking a fresh challenge.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide leadership and clinical oversight to the nursing team.
* Deliver high-quality patient care, including chronic disease management, immunisations, wound care, and health promotion.
* Develop and implement practice protocols, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
* Mentor and support the development of the nursing staff.
* Collaborate with GPs and the wider clinical team to enhance patient outcomes.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation in line with regulations.
*Requirements:*
* Registered Nurse (NMC Registration).
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Practice Nurse.
* Experience in a leadership or senior nursing role is desirable.
* Strong skills in chronic disease management and general practice nursing duties.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
* Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
