Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: - Matric
- RE5 and CPD Hours
- Representative with the FSCA (DOFA required)
- FAIS Compliant
- 5 to 10 years short term insurance underwriting experience in Commercial Lines at a brokerage
- Sound knowledge of various short term products and policies (Commercial, Agri, Engineering, Marine)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English and Afrikaans)
- Must be able to work well under pressure

Duties and responsibilities: The candidates should have a passion for client services, excel in attention to detail and aim to exceed expectations. Team players are required who can operate well under pressure and embrace Treating Customers Fairly principles.
- Overall underwriting processes (quotations, new business, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, unpaids/age analysis)
- Ensure documentation is processed accurately and correctly
- Timeous attendance to internal and external queries
- General administration and service delivery to Accounts Executives to enable them to render excellent service to our clients
- Retention and Growth of client base
