CNC Turner (Sliding head technician)
The Company
A world leading plastics machining company based in Hitchin who work within a number of different industries.
The Role
This position will include setting CNC sliding head machines for production, making in-process adjustments, maintaining quality control of the parts you are producing, and liaising with the machine Cell Support and QC teams
The work will include the following:
Setting CNC sliding head machines for production
Working from engineering drawings
Making in-process adjustments
Quality control of the parts you are making
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must

Experienced Setting and Operating CNC sliding Head machines – (Fanuc preferable)

The ability to read and create programs for production

A good understanding of engineering drawings

An ability of working to a high standard
Reward
Salary is £38,000-£42,000 depending upon experience, which includes a shift premium of 20%.
