Your mission:
- Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize warehousing costs thus maximizing working capital
- Call off and coordinate deliveries to ensure continuous supply of all raw materials to the mill
- Receipt and manage all stock movements on SAP
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of stock on SAP
- Plan and conduct stock counts internally and at the external warehouses
- Investigate variances, report and resolve accordingly
- Produce reports to ensure critical areas in stock management are controlled and any discrepancies resolved timeously
- Create work orders and track usage versus budget
- Develop and maintain accurate procedures for all inventory control processes
- Document control and filing
- Prepare documentation and systems for auditing purposes
- Supply specific stock requirements input into departmental plans
- Forecast stock requirements based on usage and model stock
- Ensure effective cost control and minimize stock write offs by following inventory control principles
- Ensure compliance to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality aspects according to set parameters

Your profile:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Warehousing, Inventory or Supply Chain Management (NQF 6)
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in operational inventory control with SAP or ERP experience within the Paper making industry.
- Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Valid South African drivers license
- Forklift and overhead crane driving experience desirable
