As a Surgical Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and building Alcon Surgical Disposable and Instrumentation market shares. You will optimize the relationship of Alcon with the ophthalmologists and all other persons involved who advise or use Alcon products, increase sales on equipment and upgrade current installed equipment to the latest technology with the main target on Cataract Accounts for Inland territory; Gauteng west, Johannesburg South, and Mpumalanga (the candidate must be based in Gauteng). You will:

Achieve target sales
Increase the number of equipment installed
Detail new products and marketing initiatives to the account base in a targeted way
Conduct training
Plan, coordinate, and manage call plans and meetings
Provide market intelligence feedback
Ensure that all territory administration is completed efficiently as necessary

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or a minimum of 2 years of experience in ophthalmology sales
BSc in the biomedical field is a plus
Fluency in English
Must be based in Gauteng
Valid driving license
Preference will be given to candidates from previously disadvantaged groups
