Workshop Supervisor – Offshore Cranes
Brilliant opportunity for a Cranes Workshop Supervisor to work on a permanent 4-on, 4-off rotation!
Human Engineering is currently representing a reputable client seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor for their offshore crane maintenance and repair facility in Africa. The workshop specialises in servicing and maintaining knuckle-boom and lattice-boom cranes used in offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of offshore cranes.

Lead and supervise a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of parts and materials for repairs.

Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status.

Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs as required.
Requirements:

Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).

Previous experience working with offshore knuckle-boom and lattice-boom cranes is essential.

Valid offshore tickets (BOSIET, HUET, etc.).

Up-to-date offshore medical certificate.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams in a workshop environment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
