HR Advisor Opportunity – Join a Thriving Manufacturing Company in Stourport
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Generalist HR Advisor to join our dynamic team in Stourport. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time working options available.
About the Role:
As a vital part of our HR Department, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business with essential HR functions, including absence management, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Coordination: Crafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, and organizing interviews.
- Onboarding: Preparing job offers, issuing contracts, and conducting new starter inductions.
- Employee Relations: Monitoring absence, conducting return-to-work interviews, and performing exit interviews.
- Compliance: Conducting Right to Work checks and ensuring essential training completion.
- Record Maintenance: Managing employee files, updating training matrices, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaboration: Liaising with Health & Safety and supporting integrated QUENSH system responsibilities.
- Meeting Support: Notetaking for disciplinary, grievance, and welfare meetings.
- Occasional Travel: Visiting other company sites as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven HR administration experience.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and HR generalist practices.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to manage time effectively, troubleshoot, and work collaboratively.
Working Hours:
Part-time: 24 hours/week – Monday to Thursday (9am-2pm) and Friday (9am-1pm).
Full-time: 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-1:30pm Friday.
