Polytec are looking for a CNC Operator for our client based in Ely.
Responsibilities:
- Load and run a variety of CNC machines
- Ensure machines are scheduled and loaded to meet demand
- Unload and hand finish components
- Assist CNC Programmers to prove out and produce first-off production components
- Ensure quality of components produced meets requirements
- Weekly machine maintenance and 5S tasks
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical milling machines
- Experience working with micron level precision
- Machine loading and operation experience
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of 5-axis milling and Wire EDM would be beneficial
- Knowledge of multi-pallet, high mix, low volume machining would be helpful
- Apprenticeship trained or similar experience considered
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Machine Shop environment.
