Polytec are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist in Chemistry for our client. You will be responsible for a large area stretching from Northern Scotland to Mid Wales including Northern Ireland. Ideally you will be based fairly central to this within the Scottish Border region (Newcastle to Falkirk).
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining profitable sales within your territory
- Develop new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle
- Maintain and develop relationships by structured site visits and communications to current and potential customers
- Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations and training
- CRM Management
- Organise and attend onsite mini-exhibitions and symposiums
Requirements:
- Knowledge and familiarity with the Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research and Chemical sectors
- Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with products in process and organic chemistry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM
- Full UK driving license.
