We are seeking an experienced candidate for this role as a Regional Sales Manager for an outstanding company in the Water industry. The Company has an excellent reputation in the industry; its products and solutions use the latest technologies and innovation to facilitate efficient management of the UK’s waste-water and clean water networks.
Regional Sales Manager – Benefits Package

A starting salary of between £55,000 and £60,000 pa related to skills and experience

Regional Sales Manager - Role overview
-
Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers

Managing and interpreting customer requirements

Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs

Calculating client quotations

Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions

Offering after-sales support services including technical support

Administering client accounts

Analysing costs and sales

Meeting regular sales targets

Recording and maintaining client contact data

Co-ordinating sales projects

Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product/service will meet client needs
Regional Sales Manager – Candidate requirements
-
Proven experience in the clean or waste-water sector is preferred
-
Candidates who currently work for a Water company will be seriously considered
-
Candidates with no sales experience but have a strong technical/mechanical/project management water industry background will also be seriously considered and any necessary training would be given

You should be willing to travel regularly spending on average 2 nights per week away from home

A relevant qualification is preferred e.g. HND or Degree in a related discipline

Sound technical knowledge

You must be adaptable due to the reactive nature of the business.

The ability to build relationships with clients quickly

You will have excellent customer facing skills and be happy in a role that will require travel to client sites as and when required.
