With a healthy land bank, exciting projects, and a bustling year ahead, they seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee two key schemes initially ā one in Hertfordshire and one in Milton Keynes, redefining urban living and are happy to consider Projects Managers seeking the next step.
Your Role: As our Contracts Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of projects. Reporting to the Construction Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple schemes concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Overseeing all aspects of construction, from pre-construction planning to project completion.
- Collaborating closely with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive efficiency and quality.
- Implementing effective project management strategies to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Providing leadership and guidance to project teams to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
You: We're looking for candidates who possess:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager in volume building, preferably with experience in managing schemes of 200 units or more.
- Experience in traditional build and timber frame construction is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent management abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
- A passion for excellence and a drive to exceed expectations.
