Hello,

My client in Harrow is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer due to expansion.

Role & Responsibility

Establishing and developing the design of Engineering solutions and systems
Preparing concept plans and briefs for projects
Instruct and monitor project Electrical Engineering Team and CAD Department
Producing reports in support of the design concepts with regard to compliance with standards and best practice
Liaising with others in the design team.
Inspecting installations and reviewing progress quality and performance tests
Supporting the design team and client with regard to Operation and ongoing maintenance
Preparing Detail Design Project Specification and Drawing
Participating in client and project meetings
Reporting to clients on progress and project related items
Carry out or review Electrical Design Calculations

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably a member of a recognised industry body:

Essential Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of relevant guidance and standards for BSI, CIBSE, IET, ENA and Building Regulations
- Knowledge of alternative energy and sustainable design
- Experience of HV installations at 11kV and above

Desirable Skills

Experience

At least 5 years with a recognised company
Project experience preferred within a number of market sectors to include commercial, retail, industrial, Data centre.

Salary: £60k
