The Role Includes

Undertaking structured review of skills and performance across all technicians disciplines.

Continual review and audit of technicians working practices, ethics, customer skills and communication.

Preparation of individual training plans based on development needs.
-
Developing a robust programme of Toolbox Talks & Lessons Learned.

Regular site based audits within a defined region.
-
PPE, plant, equipment, vehicle, & stock checks.
-
HSQE audits to include training and understanding of RAMS and safe working practices.
-
Maintaining and enhancing communication across multiple office locations.
-
General regional office based assistance where required.
-
General estimating assistance where required.
-
Technical support with customer / site escalations.
-
Attending training sessions and then cascading content to technicians (Train the Trainer qualification beneficial).

Research, review and propose any other training that could add value to the team. • Review of technicians performance and focus areas.

IT support / training relating to tablet PC applications, mobile solutions and customer interfaces.
-
1st level escalation responsibility for out of hours on-call activity on a rota basis (UK nationwide).
Your Profile
-
Significant experience as an Automatic Door Technician
-
A full UK driving licence with flexibility to working hours due to requirement to travel. Ideally based within 1 hour of the Newcastle office.

Experience in training, supporting and mentoring technicians.

Positive, professional attitude with the ability to understand and disseminate technical information clearly and effectively.

Ability to work without supervision and use initiative at all times.

Excellent communication skills
