This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify and manage regulatory risks, making it ideal for a professional with a strong background in company secretarial and compliance duties Youll provide comprehensive company secretarial duties, support meeting management, and ensure compliance in corporate governance. Youll also assist with the drafting and reviewing of resolutions and minutes, preparation for board and committee meetings, and manage Annual Return filings among other CIPC related matters. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), be an admitted legal practitioner, and ideally have a postgraduate qualification in Compliance. You should have at least 3 4 years of post-qualifying experience, with a solid understanding of the Companies Act, King IV, and JSE Listings Requirements. Key skills required include strong analytical and legal drafting abilities, excellent planning and organisational skills, proactive and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.
