Experience & Qualification: Essential: Grade 12 / Matric/Senior Certificate Transport Management or Supply-Chain / Logistics Degree or Diploma Minimum 3 Years Management experience in Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Environment. Computer Packages Microsoft Office Responsibilities: Ensure optimal planning and forecasting of department resources to meet the day-to-day strategic objectives. Ensure that the system is monitored, cleaned up by using the management tools, available on SAP EWM. Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximise operational efficiencies. Ensure that all resources, including electronic equipment and materials handling equipment is maintained and in safe operating conditions. Manage shelf life to ensure no short dated and/or expired stock is dispatch to customers. Ensure that resources and queues are monitored and optimised as per operational requirements. Ensure effective management and adherence to GWP, SHE program and OHS act. Prevent and act on security or risk issues and ensure that risks are dealt with proactively. Identify supplier issues that impact required financial objectives and address them at the appropriate level internally and externally.
