Provide detailed knowledge about flora, fauna, geography, and conservation practices. Maintain equipment, vehicles, and facilities used during guided experiences. Monitor environmental conditions to ensure tours are safe and enjoyable. Assist in conservation activities, wildlife monitoring, and habitat restoration projects as needed. Offer outstanding hospitality and create memorable interactions with guests. Stay updated on wildlife trends and best practices in field guiding. Qualifications and Skills: Professional field guiding certification (e.g., FGASA, CATHSSETA, or equivalent) is required. Valid drivers license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit) preferred. Proven experience in leading guided tours, ideally in a (safari, wilderness, or eco-tourism) setting. Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage diverse groups. Strong knowledge of local wildlife, ecology, and environmental conservation. Ability to work in remote and challenging outdoor environments. First Aid certification is a must.
