We are a renowned legal firm based in the heart of Worcester, known for our expertise, professionalism, and dedication to client service. As we continue to grow, we re looking for a dynamic and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the firm, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Undertake credit control duties, including monitoring outstanding payments, contacting clients for overdue invoices, and resolving payment issues.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Provide support for payroll processing and other financial duties as required.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to address finance-related queries professionally and efficiently.
What We re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant role, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of credit control processes and excellent communication skills for client interactions.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
