On behalf of The Government Property Agency, we are looking for a Health and Safety Manager for a contract to run up until 31/3/25 with a possibility of extension beyond then, working remotely with site visits nationally.
The Government Property Agency is an Executive Agency of the cabinet office. It is changing the way the Civil Service works and is at the forefront of Government's transformation agenda; reshaping the relationship civil servants have with their place of work. The Agency is central to the delivery of key Government policies including moving 22,000 Civil Service roles out of London by 2030 and tackling climate change by contributing to the Net Zero agenda. To do this we are delivering a major change programme across the UK and consolidating our portfolio in order to save 1.4 Bn over 10 years.

As a Health and Safety Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
Develop and manage the GPA Workplace Services Audit and Assurance Programme.
Support the Assurance Manager in developing robust statutory compliance reporting across our estate for quarterly client reporting
Assist the FM Team in Managing on-site contractors and occupiers to develop accident and incident reduction strategies
Essential:
The successful candidate must be NEBOSH qualified or hold an equivalent qualification
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
Worked within a similar role with the ability to hit the ground running
The successful candidate must hold current active SC Clearance
