Our client is seeking an Operations and Continuous Improvement Manager with the capacity to oversee operational manufacturing activities (approximately 25% of your focus) while dedicating the majority of your time to reviewing and optimising the manufacturing processes through CI; steering and supporting NPI into production.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations and Continuous Improvement Manager: - Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met.
- Take ownership of the NPI process, ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, focusing on efficiency, quality, and lean processes.
- Utilise frameworks like SCRUM and Agile to manage projects and adapt quickly to changing demands.
- Monitor performance metrics and deliver actionable reports.
- Collaborate across departments to design and implement systems that enhance process improvements.
- Champion a culture of operational excellence across all levels.

Ideal Operations and Continuous Improvement Manager Candidate Profile: - A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in value-added manufacturing, ideally with exposure to NPI processes as part of your work
- Experience delivering CI methodologies within manufacturing operations.
- Ability to apply SCRUM and Agile frameworks within a manufacturing or operational environment.
- A track record of leading teams and delivering operational improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic and logical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an adaptable and motivational leadership style.
- Experience managing diverse teams both direct and indirect.
