Chef - Part Time (20hrs per week)

Portsmouth Golf Course is one of the busiest Pay & Play golf courses in Hampshire. Situated on Portsdown Hill overlooking the city of Portsmouth the course boasts an excellent 18 holes layout, practice area, putting green and clubhouse facility.
The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a part time Chef to assist within our catering area of the business. This is a part time role assisting with front and back of house duties. Shifts will be on a rota basis over a 7 day week covering days off and assisting with busy periods. Early starts and late finishes can be a requirement. Overtime will be available.
Duties will include:
- Production of menu offering
- Opening and closing tasks
- HACCP compliance
- Cleaning duties
- Serving hot & cold beverages
- Front of House assistance when required
- Stock management
Requirements of successful candidate:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- An emphasis on high quality
- Food Hygiene Certificate or skills gained in an appropriate environment preferable
- Ability to work alone and part of a team with willingness to be flexible
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to work
