As a Mental Health Student Ambassador, you will play a key role in promoting mental health awareness, supporting FriendnPal’s outreach efforts, and engaging with the community to drive positive change. This volunteer position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain experience in mental health advocacy, and contribute to impactful projects.
Responsibilities:
Advocacy and Outreach: Promote FriendnPal’s mission and mental health awareness on campus and in the community through events, presentations, and social media campaigns.
Community Engagement: Organize and participate in mental health workshops, support groups, and informational sessions to engage and educate peers.
Resource Distribution: Share information about FriendnPal’s services and resources, helping individuals understand and access mental health support.
Feedback Collection: Gather and relay feedback from peers and community members to help improve FriendnPal’s programs and services.
Partnership Building: Collaborate with student organizations, mental health clubs, and other stakeholders to build partnerships and expand outreach efforts.
Training Participation: Attend training sessions and workshops provided by FriendnPal to stay informed about mental health issues, the app’s features, and effective advocacy strategies.
Qualifications:
Current student enrolled in a university with a strong interest in mental health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about mental health advocacy and community engagement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
