Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Review contractual commitments, customer specifications, or related information to determine logistics or support requirements.
Identify cost-reduction or process-improvement logistic opportunities.
Provide technical support to clients.
Analyse logistics processes.
Provide logistics technology or information for effective and efficient support of product or service.
Design or analyse operational solutions for projects such as transportation optimization, network modelling, process and methods analysis, cost containment, capacity enhancement, routing and shipment optimization, or information management.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
Matric with a Degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant qualification
At least 1-2 year experience in a similar role
Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel)
Ability to program in Python would be advantageous
Must be a critical thinker and able to solve complex problems
Must have excellent time-management skills, mathematical skills and systems analytical skills
Must have good judgement and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
