We are seeking a detail-oriented POD Clerk to manage the collection and review of Subcontractor Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to expedite freight billing.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Debriefing: Ensure all documentation for assigned vehicles is checked before any tasks are performed; inform drivers of expectations.
Debriefing: Collect all PODs with related customer documentation; report any deficiencies or damages to the Claims Department before invoicing.
Administration: Verify all PODs at depots for company and subcontractor vehicles; communicate with personnel and control centers about outstanding PODs; maintain accurate records and updates on the status of PODs.
Requirements:
Strong organizational and verification skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with various departments and personnel.
Experience in handling freight billing and documentation is preferred.
