Our client, who is one of the most prestigious wineries in the world, is looking for a In-house Photographer/Videographer to join their team in Cape Town - Stellenbosch. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and PR. This position is key to further the company's digital communication and marketing objectives, including growing a community of luxury followers. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability and eagerness to generate videos and photos from short clips to long-form storytelling that communicate the company's luxury proposition in authentic, memorable, and captivating ways. This is role equally divided by Videography and Photography. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing their own equipment. Responsibilities: Shoot, edit, and produce photo / video content for social media platforms, print publications, email communications, public relations outreach, advertisements, special events, meetings/presentations, and other media as needs arise Generate high-quality still images and videos worthy of wide audiences that showcase products, people, events, and other offerings Receive and manage all video and photography requests. Schedule, organise, and manage video and photo shoots. Maintain a video and photoshoot calendar Storyboard concepts, film and conduct interviews, gather necessary b-roll footage and edit videos to meet the marketing and communication standards and needs Work to ensure all photography and videography created by the Marketing Department meets the company brand guidelines Skills and Qualifications required: 1-3 years of experience in video and digital photography, preferably in luxury brand, Luxury publication, Lifestyle, Wine business setting Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, and After Effects Ability to expertly operate mid- to high-level cameras, video cameras, microphones, and lighting Demonstrated proficiency and passion for modern photography and videography styles Enthusiasm for a variety of image styles and a commitment to quality work across different departments Must be dependable, respectful, self-motivated, adaptable, efficient Must be able to work well with a wide range of people, including immediate team, HOD and staff Must be comfortable working both independently and with the marketing team Must be able to juggle multiple projects, respond to immediate requests, and work in a high-energy, deadline-driven atmosphere Must employ a deep respect and appreciation for our various audiences and their interests and habits Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Regular hours will be Monday-Friday, approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but some evening and weekend hours will be required.
