About the Role
- Set up press brake machines and tooling based on blueprint specifications.
- Operate machinery to bend and form metal sheets and plates to precise dimensions.
- Adjust machine settings to accommodate material type and thickness.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding production updates or issues.
About the Candidate
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with metal types and their properties.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately.
- Experience in operating press brake machines (preferred).
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs .
- Prolonged standing and manual dexterity.
