Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you
- Steering the implementation of new service offers with the main focus on the German and Austrian Capital Gain Tax impact
- Leading new product approval process with focus on German and Austrian capital gain tax and market requirements including the follow up and closing of recommendations, service implementation and participation in sign-off process including the required IT changes
- Revising of Operational procedures against global tax operating model and product/service offers
- Analyze and define process improvements and liaise with IT to design the best functional architecture
- Informing the relevant local stakeholders of relevant market changes and changes in BNP Paribas' global tax service offer and support Client Service Management within exchanges with clients and prospects
- Contributing to market associations and similar organization to represent the interest of BNP Paribas and its international clients and share relevant updates with internal local & global stakeholders
- Participating in the market working group for the implementation of any capital gain tax reforms
Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer
- Professional experience in Custody and/or Tax Operations or Product Development, Project Management or any similar role
- Detailed knowledge of German and Austrian Capital Gain Tax regulation
- Bachelor's or master's degree in tax or laws or any equivalent banking education would be of advantage
- Excellent knowledge within the securities services industry, especially in the area of Custody and Tax services for Financial Institutions, Corporates, Asset Managers & Asset Owners
- Very good knowledge of a Custodian's operational set-up and external provider systems, e.g. WM Daten
- Sound knowledge of PC Applications (standard software Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Attention to detail, ability to share and high grade of self-organization
- Team work within an international team, strong communication skills
- Being fluent in German and English
