A temporary position has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to work for a local company for approximately three months. The Temporary Accounts Assistant will support the Accounts department through a busy period with various responsibilities, including invoicing and bank reconciliations.
Job Description for the Accounts Assistant: The role of the Accounts Assistant will include:
- Complete full bank account reconciliations
- Chase invoices, upload them to the system and reconcile statements
- Reconcile supplier accounts
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Reception duties including answering incoming calls
- Support HR with various duties including contracts, sick pay, etc.
- Administration duties
Requirements for the Accounts Assistant: - Must have experience from a similar role accounts experience is essential
- Sage 50 experience is essential and Sage Payroll experience is desirable
- Must be at least Part AAT Qualified
- Must be confident with bank reconciliations
- Sales and purchase ledger experience
- Understanding of a P&L
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to support other areas of the business when required
Hours: Monday Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm
Salary: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
