Accounts Trainee
Salary starting £21,000 per annum (rising to £23,000 at completion of probation), plus sponsorship through the ACA full study package, pension, flexible benefits package and more!
Office based, Camberley.
Salary & Benefits:
Starting £21,000 per annum increasing to £23k on completion of 6 month probation thereafter increases awarded on performance and examinations passes (full salary structure during and post qualification discussed at interview); 29 days annual leave including bank holidays. Full study package (worth £20K for ACA) including professional study fees and training courses, books, membership fees and provision of sufficient study time alongside relevant job-related work experience. Pension and flexible benefits. Core hours 9am to 5.15pm, 1 hour for lunch daily. Start date dependent on your availability, immediate start available.

The Role:
The position will allow you to develop your accounting skills whilst playing a vital role in our Accounts, Tax and Bookkeeping Departments. You will be fully sponsored through studies at college (Reading) for the ACA studies and exams and you will be mentored throughout your training, helping you to achieve your full potential.
Key tasks will include:
- Bookkeeping using various software such as Xero and Sage 50
- VAT returns preparation and submission to HMRC
- Accounts preparation for sole traders and limited companies
- Involvement in statutory and voluntary audits of limited companies and other entities
- Dealing with client queries
You will develop your skills by gaining practical experience and through studying the many aspects of accountancy.
Key applicant requirements:
- Good G.C.S.E. and ideally A Level results and degree education if looking to pursue the ACA position
- Good mathematical ability
- Accurate and keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Good time management and the ability to balance work alongside college studies
- Able to work in an office based role in Camberley, and attend college course in Reading
