Your World is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Autism Practitioner for work on a locum basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known Trust Wide in Belfast.
Job Summary
The post holder will work as part of multi-disciplinary team supporting the delivery of diagnostic Autism assessments in Belfast Trust.
The successful candidate will be provided with any necessary training in the formal identification and diagnosis of Autism.
A key aspect of this role will include liaison with other services and professionals.
Requirements
Degree level qualification in a relevant Health and Social Care area (e.g. Nursing (Mental Health or Adult), Social Work, Speech and Language Therapist /Occupational Therapist, with live registration with their respective professional body if appropriate.
Significant post-qualifying experience working with adults with mental health difficulties and/ or neuro-diverse conditions.
Knowledge & Experience of assessing adults with Social, Emotional & Behavioural Presentations. Significant experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Hold current Full Driving licence valid in the UK with access to a car. This criteria will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements.
