A purchasing clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of goods and services for an organization. Their primary purpose is to support the purchasing department in various tasks related to acquiring the necessary resources needed for operations. Overall, the purpose of a purchasing clerk is to facilitate the procurement process, maintain good vendor relationships, and contribute to cost-effective purchasing practices.
Responsibilities
- Receive and action Zeestore orders for dispatch and collection
- Communicate picking and packing of orders with Zeestore assistant
- Manage communication to zee's on all Zeestore related communications:
- Maintain Cin7 Zeestore system with updated pricing and stock items
- Ensure standard stock items in stock
- Update Woocommerce site for Zeestore on updated items and images
- Report weekly and monthly on Zeestore issues, progress, challenges
- Source suppliers and pricing quotes where necessary
- Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Align with the INF accounts team monthly to ensure alignment on customer accounts
- Create Purchase orders under the accounts team supervision on approved expenses
- Manage the Purchasing email
- Consistently manage own priorities to achieve all deliverables
- Follow any lawful and reasonable instruction from the GM
- Act as part of the team and always assist other members of the team to achieve common goals
- Consistently live and be an example of the Company values
