Astral is a leading Southern African integrated poultry producer with an exciting opportunity available for a Teleseller to join their sales team within the County Fair business unit based in Epping in the Western Cape.
Qualifications:
- Matricor equivalent qualification
Experience:
- Sales experience in a FMCG or Poultry environment advantageous
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Establishing strong relationships with retail customers
- Professionally responding to all telephonic sales inquiries
- Promoting and growing our brands
- Interacting with our existing and new clients
- Ensuring that our full range of products are sold to our customers
- Maintaining a specified customer base and ensuring excellent sales service
- Maintaining good customer service working relationship
- Sales administration duties
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements :
- Must be computer literate with excellent skills in MS Word and Excel
- Fluent in English and an additional official language
- Multitasking and high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment
- Punctuality and the ability to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required
- Good communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
- The ideal candidate must be focused, detail orientated and deadline driven.
