As a Programme Manager in the Government and Public Sector Transformation team, you will play a key role in business development, design, implementation, and delivery across a range of potential/existing urban and resilience-related projects across African cities.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
- Postgraduate qualification (ideally, Masters, MBA or PhD) in Programme Management, Public Policy, Economics, or related qualifications.
Experience required:
- Experience in programme management, public policy, economics, and data in the cities and public sector space (preferably in South Africa), experience in climate/resilience, African cities.
Responsibilities of role:
- Play a key role in the delivery and programme management of projects within the Government and Public Sector team (supporting public policy/urban issues). This will include strategy development, planning, delivery, as well as the development of x-LoS solutions and coordination of planning and delivery.
- Programme manage a number of Government and Public Sector projects, liaising with clients and partners with whom we work.
- Play a key role in business development on programme management/economics/data/urban/public sector proposals (e.g., water, energy, climate, tech, transport, economics and revenue, programme management, and governance).
- Development of thought leadership in the Government and Public Sector, Programme Management, public policy, and urban space.
- Management role within the team, playing a key role in developing our foundations, Associates and Senior Associates, development of our marketing and communications, and setting a standard in terms of our risk management.
