We have a great opportunity for a strong ICU Trained Sister with great leadership skills to become a Unit Manager for a General ICU.
Key Output:
Responsible for coordinating improved quality nursing care by ensuring compliance to professional and ethical practice.
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that nursing care andservice delivery is implemented and practiced within a multi-disciplinary quality assurance team.
Will be accountable for coordinating capacity building, mentoring, and training.
Requirements:
Registered as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council – Essential
A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in general nursing/B Cur degree) or NQF level 7 equivalent qualification
Qualified 12 months post basic training in critical care- Essential
Management qualification advantageous
2 or more years’ experience in a private setting hospital
Experience in clinical leadership
