Due to increasing demand our client is looking for experienced Production and Machine Operatives to join their already established team.
You will be joining a highly successful and international business that offer great career progression opportunities in the future
Successful candidates will be available to work days, nights and every other weekend worked on a set rolling 4 week rota, have proven track record of longevity and reliability within previous employment.
Rolling rota is as follows:
Week 1 (days)
Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
Week 2 (days)
Wed & Thurs
Week 3 (nights)
Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
Week 4 (nights)
Wed & Thurs
As a machine operator you will be required to:
- To complete machinery safety start-up checks
- Run a minimum of 1 machine under supervision to produce products to a high standard
- Completing products in a timely manner following all health and safety procedures
- Report any machinery or quality issues directly to supervisors and management
- Carry out quality checks and complete all required documentation
- To clearly follow work instruction documentation, to ensure production meets efficiencies and throughputs, to the required technical standards
- To deal with problems quickly and efficiently seeking advice where necessary
- To carry out regular quality checks ensure products meet requirements
- To complete all production documentation
- To minimise waste levels to meet company requirements and report any deviation to the management team
The ideal candidate will be:
- A team player who has a proven record for meeting KPI targets, as well as exceptional communication skills
- Ability to fault find and maintain machinery if required
- Computer Literate
- Ability to follow instructions and work from own initiative
- Work to a high standard at all times
- Previous experience in a factory environment preferred but not essential
Full on the job training is provided.
Quarterly bonus with full attendance and successful production targets.
Overtime paid at x1.5.
