Job Description
Main tasks of job:
As a Mechanical Gas Engineer, you will be working within a commercial and domestic environment carrying out service, maintenance and breakdown of commercial and domestic boilers and heating systems including boilers over 70kw.
Responsible for:
- Service of domestic and commercial boilers and associated ancillary plant
- Fault finding and reactive breakdowns on domestic and commercial gas boilers and ancillary plant including pumps, pressure sets, expansion vessels etc
- Fault finding and reactive repairs to heating and domestic hot water systems
- Assist with small project works associated with boiler and heating systems
- To participate in the out of hours call out rota
The candidate
- Experienced in all aspects of gas boiler servicing (Essential)
- Gas Safe qualified for both Commercial and Domestic (Essential)
- Full driving licence (Essential)
- LPG (advantageous)
- Oil (advantageous)
- Pipe work installation (advantageous)
- FGAS qualified (advantageous)
- 18th edition Electrical (advantageous)
