This Assembly Operative role is working for an engineering business with a reputation for high quality work, who have an ambitious growth strategy for the next 5 years. Based just outside of Pocklington, East Yorkshire, they are looking for an Assembly Operative to join their team and help them grow.
The Assembly Operative role will involve;
- Reading and following engineering drawings correctly
- Using a variety of both basic power/air tools as well as hand tools to assembly parts
- Fitting hydraulic and electrical kits to mechanical assemblies.
- Quality checking parts and final assemblies to make sure they have been assembled correctly.
- Helping to lift heavy items
We are looking to interview candidates who have;
- Previous experience using hand, air and power tools in an assembly / fitting role
- Previous mechanical assembly / fitting experience
- Some experience quality checking goods.
- Previous experience reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Your own transport such as a car or motorbike to get to site.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4.30pm. Friday 8am to 3.15pm.
The role offers 12.50 per hour and plenty of overtime in peak times. 29 Days holiday (including Bank Holidays).
