We have recently partnered with a highly successful business based in Stanford-le-Hope who are seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their tight team in a fully office-based role, reporting to the Financial Controller.
The role will see you taking responsibility across the general ledgers as well as becoming involved in month-end and management accounts. They are offering a salary up to 38,000, a competitive benefits package, as well as a clear route for progression.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the production of management accounts.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with key projects and month-end.
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Processing high volumes of invoices and supplier transactions.
- Reviewing and posting credit card transactions as well as expenses.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Managing purchase and sales ledger invoices.
Requirements:
- AAT qualified / actively studying.
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant.
- Exposure to month-end.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Passion to progress throughout a finance department.
