Salary: £15.65 per hour

This is an opportunity to make a real difference by providing residents with nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to their dietary needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities - Run the kitchen while maintaining high standards of food preparation, cleanliness, and organization.
- Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of nutritious and delicious meals, considering residents' individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Develop seasonal menus that offer variety, balance, and appeal to residents.
- Adapt dishes for special diets, including allergies, dysphagia-friendly options, and modified textures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Efficiently manage stock levels and supplies, reducing waste and maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with the care team to enhance the overall dining experience for residents.
Requirements - Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a care home, school, hospital, or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of dietary requirements, including allergies and modified diets.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage kitchen operations independently.
- A passion for providing high-quality, wholesome meals with compassion and respect for residents.
