To provide a high level of service (telephonically and via correspondence) to Customers. The primary function of a Long Term Retentions Consultant is to ensure that all cancellation requests are retained by using all tools provided, for example, by offering the product benefits, downgrading or reducing cover, and discounts to suit the client’s needs, ensuring that the client remains on the book. Reinstatement of policies is also a core job function; policies will need to be reinstated as per client’s requests. At this point, consultants can use this opportunity to upsell on the policy, which will contribute to the company’s revenue.
Qualifications
- Completed Matric
- NQF 5
- A minimum of 120 Insurance credits
- Regulatory Exams
- FAIS (Long Term Insurance)
- Requirements include Class of Business (COB) and compliance training
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years insurance industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years call centre/telephone experience
- Minimum of 1 year sales/retention contact centre experience.
