Role's Purpose:
Ensure that the whole operations function is run smoothly in Mozambique.
Experience & Qualifications Criteria:
- Degree in Logistics, Management, Supply Chain or related.
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and computer skills as well as strong leadership is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage transportation routes, inventory control, and warehouse activities.
- Lead and supervise logistics teams, ensuring high performance and safety compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive process enhancements.
- Manage budgets and control costs associated with logistics and transportation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges in real-time.
- Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance and provide actionable insights for management.
